Lalitā Reclaimed was born at a key turning point in my life. Due to burnout, I had just stepped away from a long career in the fast-paced healthcare & tech industries. I found myself intensely longing to slow down and reconnect with the parts of myself that were waiting on dusty shelves to be reclaimed...

Back then, I felt much like one of the vintage cashmere sweaters I work with now; it may have lost its shape, but never its soul. Where most people see a torn seam or broken button, I see a new beginning, a story worth telling, a thread that connects us all.

My journey into reclamation started with a single sweater and transformed into a desire to preserve the uncompromising quality of the past. Today, my studio is dedicated to those who value the story behind the stitch; a single thread of yarn, knit together into a series of loops that joins the past, present, and future.
